IIM Lucknow Placement Procedure
IIM Lucknow makes arrangements for their students to attend the various organizations on internship. Many of these organizations extend Pre Placement Offers (PPO) to the candidates who had worked as intern in the organizations. PPO's are those offers which are extended before the first day of placement.
IIM Lucknow also provides provisions for Higher Entry Placement Program (HEPP). The HEPP is an excellent method of ensuring that candidates with prior work experience are able to ensnare jobs suited to their choice and caliber.
IIM Lucknow Placement Record
IIM Lucknow has one the best placement records among all major management institutes in the country. In the last few years, IIM Lucknow has broken its own records of being the institute with the highest placement number. In the year 2005, IIM Lucknow produced 218 graduates. The institute reached the 100% placement mark quite effortlessly.
A total of 24 candidates were offered Pre Placement Offers (PPO) where as a record 65 students were placed through the Higher Entry Placement Program (HEPP). 13 IIM Lucknow students got international offers. In total, 331 offers were made to 219 graduates from IIM Lucknow.
In 2006, the institute broke its own record. A total of 491 offers were made to 249 students. In 2006 also, IIM Lucknow achieved 100% placement for its students. 30 PPO were awarded to internship students were as an unbelievable 105 candidates were placed through HEPP.
The ever increasing trend of placement of candidates of IIM Lucknow ensured that 65 PPO's were made and 123 candidates were placed through HEPP. A total of 554 offers made to 280 students. The offers included 28 international offers.
